today I want to show you how to cut a Bono's corner so this is a Bono's corner how would it look in a house on the left side cutting it with baseboard and the one on the right side is the one I'm going to teach how to make that I just used I had to buy for scrap laying around that I used if you put baseboard down a crown molding you know some people's house has what they call a Bono's corner and it's where the the wall is on a ninety degree angle it'll be rounded and normally it's about five eighths of an inch but you have to measure it I'm going to show you how to cut that today and I'm gonna do it on a scrap piece of 2×4 I have so it's bigger and you get a better visual all right so we on to the miter saw now I want to show you I measured the Bono's is five eighths of an inch right here I'll squared it up and if you notice I put 22.5 on this side and 22.5 on this side that's because you need to make a twenty two point five degree cut instead of a forty-five like if you would do a regular corner it would be two forty five and that corner would match perfect but but for Bono's we got to do two twenty two point five cuts on each side so I want my saw blade to run and I'm gonna draw a line so you could see when I set my saw at 22.5 I want to cut right here on this angle twenty two point five and I want to cut right here twenty two point five now I'm gonna set this piece come down on my miter saw I'm gonna go to twenty two point five degrees and most miter saw is had that already preset twenty two point five then I'll get my piece and I'll check my blade make sure everything lines up I'm holding the camera in one hand and saw another so it's kind of hard but anyway this is how I wanted to cut right in right on that angle and touch I want it to touch the blade I want the blade to go through right here here and all the way down now on this side here now all right so now I'm gonna make these cuts I can't hold the phone and cut at the same time so I'm make these cuts so I'm gonna go to 22.5 my miter saw most – I have that adjustment already there got it right to the corner right where I wanted to now I'm going to move my saw over I'm going to cut this way I'll show you [Music] that's it got your bow nosepiece 22.5 22.5 and this is how it fits on the wall you noticed five eighths for the corner that's the bull nose twenty two point five degree cut on this beside twenty two point five degree cut on this side twenty two point five degree cut here twenty two point five degree cut here and that equals a ninety degree angle here if you liked this video if it helped you please like and subscribe to the channel leave a comment thanks so much
