g'day mates today's a big day headed off to the tractor store i don't know why i'm talking in an australian accent just felt that way right now don't even know if they call tractors tractors in australia i know they call small pickup trucks utes so you know i don't know and if you're from australia let me say this uh i mean you no offense i'm an equal opportunity offender if i didn't live in america i'd probably live in australia except for the uh snakes and the uh spiders you'll uh you really need to do something about those but anyway this is something i've wanted for a long time gonna go look at it and i'll check back in with you in a few probably with my regular accent [Music] so i've done it i've finally done it that's right i've reached peak man what is peak man this is peak man i thought i had reached peak man when i was 11 years old and i i grew this no that wasn't it then when i was 18 and i bought my first pickup truck i thought yes i've reached peak man but no that was not peak man then in my 20s when i purchased my first heavy duty pickup truck i thought yes this surely this is peak man but it wasn't something was still missing then in my middle age i purchased a little convertible sports car and i thought yes now now i have arrived at peak man but no it wasn't to be something there was a hole in my heart well as luck would have it a viewer saw the video that i made of the datsun roadster he bought said roadster and now i have used the money from that roadster to buy this i've reached peak man i have finally bought a tractor yes it's a baby tractor but it's my tractor and uh i just want to thank the man who bought my dadson for helping me achieve this this brand new i guess what i should say is this is my new bronco since i spent our bronco money on the datsun and i sold the datsun and spent the dad send money on the tractor does this make this a bronco i don't know what it makes it is my brand new toy tool my brand new tool sorry it came out oh i don't know that come out that way it's my brand new tool check it out it's the kubota b it's the kubota b2301 [Music] so look at that beautiful orange paint now to be honest i didn't go pick this out on my own this was not a hair brain thing i did and showed up and surprised my wife she actually went with me to help pick this thing out she's just that awesome we bought a piece of land last year with a we bought a piece of land with a house on it and i guess some people would say we bought a house anyway and this is the biggest piece of land we've ever had and we want to kind of turn it into a homestead and we've started a little bit of that but we've got a bunch of palmettos we've got about an acre and a half of wooded area that we want to clear through some of it anyway and there's just a bunch of work to do around here plus i can put a belly mower on this tractor and turn it into a lawnmower which is what it will honestly be used for probably 90 of the time but on those occasions where you need something just a little bit bigger this is going to work beautifully runs on diesel and the tears of soft men you know who you are but seriously this tractor is going to help us get a lot of work done around this house and yard a lot of work that i just couldn't do without a bigger piece of machinery just soaking in the manness this is really uncomfortable we have been contemplating purchasing a tractor for about the last year since we bought this uh piece of property and here recently started really looking seriously and i've always looked at green tractors but the green paint on a tractor and some people call them john deere's quick thought when referring to john deere tractors in the plural is it like the animal like look at all those john deere or is it all those john deeres or is it john's deer i don't know just a thought it tends to add a premium to the cost of a tractor but you know obviously they're quality tractors and i'm certainly no tractor expert this is my first tractor ever tractor tractor tractor i just like saying it but i found this one on facebook popped up yesterday at a dealer and the thing it was just such a phenomenal deal and this was bigger than the than the john deere that we were looking at getting and it was just kind of a no-brainer so we got out there as quick as we could and looked at it yesterday and decided last night to go ahead with it went to the dealer today and here it is my brand new tractor oh it's just so tiny [Music] [Music] so now one thing i ain't done is i ain't figured out to my accent i'm on you and i'm riding on my tractor this is i've been throwing this one around a little bit i like guessing right here i feel like uh i feel like this is appropriate for when i'm riding on the tractor uh i mean i feel like i've you know i could add a little bit of this to a little bit i don't really know i mean i could go with this right here you know but uh i kind of feel like this one right here is a good you know i mean i've got my tractor and i ain't being offensive me if you got a tractor ain't saying you talk like this right here i mean i'm from south yo i mean i know how people talk i know how it is all right i know how it is when you got a tractor all right so don't be offended if you talk like that's right air don't be offended i told you i didn't told you earlier in this video i'm an equal opportunity offender okay and these are big words for me [Music] now i'm gonna be honest with you i don't even know if you can hear me right now cause this thing is freaking loud but uh if you ain't ever driven a tractor while filming yourself while holding tripod you ain't live my friend you ain't live we have this really big bunch of palmettos here that are right in the back of the house and they're right behind where like our screen porch is so one thing we like to do is sit out back and look at the woods behind us but we have to sit outside where where the skeeters are in order to see them because if we sit on the back porch all we see are palmetto bushes i can't see nothing but them freaking palmettos out there so one of my first jobs with this tractor will be digging up all of these palmettos and i can't wait to get into it like i said earlier i've already tested it once out front it dug up that palmetto bush with pretty much no trouble at all i was worried that this tractor might be a little bit too small for that but i think it's going to work out just fine i can't wait to get out here with my girls teach them how to ride this and drive this at least two of them for now once i learned how to drive it i have operated heavy equipment years ago so i don't think i'll have much problem with it but that's something we're really excited about this thing is surprisingly quick i think it's top speed is 12 miles an hour which you know the whole scheme of things isn't very quick but it feels pretty quick when you're sitting on there and it has like an extremely tight turning radius again i don't kn
